My recent stay at Zur Altstadt in Celle exceeded my highest expectations. The hotel's attention to detail was impeccable, from the seamless check-in process to the delightful surprise of finding a small bag of Haribos on my pillow upon entering the perfectly set up room, complete with a Tchibo Coffee machine for my morning brew. The central location allowed for easy exploration of the charming Französischer Garten and Schloss Park, as well as the array of nearby restaurants and cafes.While I was reprimanded for not pre-ordering breakfast, the extensive breakfast selection, including delicious homemade jam, more than made up for the oversight. The warmth and friendliness exuded by the owners added to the inviting atmosphere of the hotel, creating a fantastic base for venturing around Celle and its surroundings. The fresh and plentiful breakfast offerings, along with the spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms, left me thoroughly impressed and eager to return, making Zur Altstadt a top recommendation for anyone looking to experience the best of Celle.
